Toll Group partnered with Business Interiors to develop a furniture solution at their custom-designed large scale freight sorting facility in Tullamarine, near Melbourne Airport. The collaboration saw a furniture solution that was cost-effective and achieved an overall high-quality, productive environment for its employees. Toll Group also required end-to-end project management of the furniture solution including furniture selection, sourcing and coordination of the entire installation.
Business Interiors were tasked with selecting furniture to suit a range of distinctive workspaces. With a clear concept in mind, Business Interiors partnered with global brands to deliver high quality furniture perfectly suited for open and collaborative offices, quiet rest areas for drivers, social lounge areas, café and security facilities.
The furniture solution was successfully executed over a three month period. During this time, a dedicated Business Interiors Project Manager was onsite regularly to manage the project programme, user consultation meetings, liaising with external contractors and coordinating variations.
Toll Group’s objective was to create vibrant workspaces and collaborative, flexible environments for their employees. Business Interiors achieved this by sourcing and supplying commercial furniture that clearly distinguished work and breakout areas that were highly functional and offered an array of storage options.
The resultant facility was delivered on time and to budget, and accommodated the evolving requirements of Toll Group. With one dedicated team, the client had confidence that any issues would be solved efficiently and effectively.
