We help create dynamic commercial spaces with intelligent furniture solutions. Over three decades we have built a strong reputation in the design industry, delivering furniture solutions across Australia and New Zealand. We work in a range of sectors including commercial, health, government and education, and provide furniture for both small and large projects.

Our approach towards supplying furniture is consciously informed by the way a space will be occupied and the desired experience intended. Whether it is an office, aged-care facility or classroom we aim to increase productivity and efficiency, and transform these spaces into meaningful experiences.

HISTORY

Business Interiors operates under Staples Inc, the world’s largest supplier of office products.

Since it was founded in 1986, Staples has grown its presence globally, operating in 25 countries across the Asia Pacific, US, Europe and Canada. Due to its global distribution network, Staples provides a fast and cost effective way for clients to purchase furniture solutions from the one place.

Staples has operated in Australia and New Zealand since it acquired Corporate Express in 2002, with its furniture division rapidly growing across both its project and catalogue offering. To better service the needs of our clients Staples established Business Interiors, offering furniture solutions and localised service for commercial projects and fitouts, in addition to two catalogue ranges of everyday office furniture.

We represent some of the design industry’s leading furniture innovators, who focus on research and development to ensure our products meet the needs of today and the next generation. Their lifelong studies into ergonomics, aesthetics and materiality transform into holistic, human-centred product design.

In order to stay abreast of the rapid changes in the industry, our trend research, factory visits, quality testing and industry engagement is paramount. Our team travels to global furniture fairs including Salone del Mobile Milan, Neocon and Orgatec, as well as Australia’s key industry events to identify new product innovation. To ensure our two catalogue ranges of everyday office furniture offer our clients best value possible, our team is constantly researching and sourcing new products that meet their needs and budget.
